MP5 is one of the most popular AEG models. Commonly perceived as a scaled-down version of the G3 rifle, “real steel” MP5 is the weapon of choice for law enforcement and special duty units worldwide. In the world of AEG, we have MP5 replicas from TM, ICS, and CA. Except for the TM MP5K / PDW, all MP5s use the V2 mechbox. Although not 100% identical, these MP5s have highly similar architectures. For example, they all have their trigger units hinged to the receivers, with various fire mode options for the user to choose from.

As the owner of these MP5s, we have to face the truth that they are not perfectly designed. In fact, they share the same structural problems. To make them more usable and durable, proper reinforcement works must be conducted.
