You need an internet
connection and a valid email account to perform activation.
Note that we only activate CDs purchased
through our authorized distributors, which are Airsplat, Begadi, and
Redwolf. If you bought the CDs from somewhere else we may not be able to
help. Second handed CDs will NOT be activated. The bottom line is, each
CD will be activated once and only once.
If you have problems activating the CD, please
go through the checklist below: 1,
From which computer did you try running activation? The computer
generating the activation request MUST BE the computer running activation.
The two procedures must take place on the exact same computer.
2, Did you type in the code by hand or did you
copy and paste? Please copy and paste to avoid typo.
Question: I bought my copy at XXX airsoft.
I tried two days to enter activation key, but I did not succeed. Please
help.
Answer: Simply telling us you did not
succeed won't help. At the least, let us know the exact error message you
received that made you think you "did not succeed".
Question: I am not very computer
literate, and ran into trouble when trying to get the activation codes by
using your link. I was with you up until I was asked about my email server
(POP3, HTTP), I don't know anything about any of that ...
Answer: POP3, SMTP ...etc are the very basic settings required for
very basic email communication to take place through your computer. You
just sort this out on your part in order to perform activation request. If
you have no email client installed on your computer, try to configure
Outlook Express, which is the easiest to use email software.
If you are using Vista, Windows Mail should be
the default email client. In order to determine if Windows Mail is the
default e-mail client, click Start, enter default programs in the Start
Search box, then select Default Programs - Set program access and computer
defaults.
Question: I
only have hotmail and I do not have a regular email POP3 account. What
can I do?
Answer: Every Windows PC comes with
Outlook Express preinstalled. If you do NOT have a working POP account,
you can still call up Outlook Express. At the least you can bring up
the email sending window. Say if you reach Step 4 and the sending window
gives you something like this:

Cdrom Product Registration Request ...
COPY and PASTE the SECOND code (in the above example is
C44A6C91) then send back to us through your
hotmail/yahoo/googles account. This way we can still figure out the
correct code for you.
Question: I first tried to install this
on my notebook, however, I ran into problem where I can't click the
request for license thru e-mail, thus I send the e-mail request using my
office PC. I can't use the office PC for this coz I can't install it. Can
you help?
Answer: Please run the activation request from your notebook again.
The computer generating the activation request MUST BE the computer
running activation. This is a technical requirement we cannot override.
Question: I first tried to install this
on my notebook that has been connected to a docking station. When I remove
the notebook from the docking station, the ebook no longer work.
Answer: A notebook with a docking station together are being
detected as one unique computer system. When the notebook is removed from
the docking station, the notebook alone would be detected as another
unique computer system. That's why you run into errors.
Question: I am stuck. I insert the disc
now it automatically goes to the 'enter unlock key' page and I cannot go
back to amend my e-mail address to see if another one works.
Answer: Please click the "show license
information" link on the lower left corner. A new window will appear.
Check the section on the upper right hand side, you should see a list of
codes (something that looks like E7E9B763).
Email us the second one on the list then we will get the correct key for
you.
Question: Hi, I just bought two of your
ebook disks and I have been trying for 3 days to get the activation codes.
When I press request through e-mail the page comes up blank. I have tried
this on 4 computers and they all do the same thing.
Answer: Sorry but this is impossible.
Those pages won't come up blank. And this won't happen to 4 normal
computers. We just cannot entertain fraudulent activation request.
Please make a hard
copy of the ebook by printing it out. This is the best way to ensure you
won't lose access to the contents in case your computer stops working.
Printing problem ...
We have not done anything to stop the printing
function so if your printout is blank then it has to be a printer
configuration problem on your side. Here are some general troubleshooting
tips on printing:
- Please change your
printer's settings and adjust the output paper size. In the US the
suitable size is US Letter. In the UK the size is A4.
- Some problems may be due
to the size of the document and the amount of RAM your computer has. If
you are running a fairly old computer and you're trying to print a large
document, then you should print a few pages at a time to avoid freezing.
Always make sure you use the latest printer driver.
